The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen and the Thai community in Denmark congratulated Mr. Kulwut Piksaeng, the first-ranked badminton player of the Thai national team, on winning the gold medal as the men single title of TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2023 by defeating Kodai Naroka of Japan on 27 August 2023 at Royal Arena, Copenhagen.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen and the Thai community in Denmark congratulated Mr. Kulwut Piksaeng, the first-ranked badminton player of the Thai national team, on winning the gold medal as the men single title of TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2023 by defeating Kodai Naroka of Japan on 27 August 2023 at Royal Arena, Copenhagen. He became the first ever Thai men single badminton player to win the BWF World Championships and the sixth man to win both junior and senior world singles titles.
In this occasion, the Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark met and congratulated Mr. Kulwut Piksaeng, the World Champion, Mr. Patapol Ngernsrisuk, the Coach, and Khunying Pattama Leeswadtrakul, President of the Badminton Association of Thailand and Deputy President of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), after the competition was concluded at the Royal Arena.
