“HEALS” – Thai Documentary Selected for MIX COPENHAGEN LGBTQIA+ Film Festival 2026!

The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen is delighted to share that “HEALS,” a Thai documentary produced by N8 STUDIOS, has been selected for screening at the MIX COPENHAGEN LGBTQIA+ Film Festival 2026, taking place from 30 October to 8 November 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Established in 1986, MIX COPENHAGEN is one of the world's oldest LGBTQIA+ film festivals and a leading platform for queer cinema in the Nordic region. The festival celebrates diversity, inclusion, and authentic storytelling, bringing together filmmakers and audiences from around the world to explore different perspectives on identity, acceptance, and the human experience through films.

About “HEALS”
Beyond the glamour, lashes, and laughter of Pangina Heals (Pan Pan Narkprasert), one of Asia's most celebrated drag queens, lies a deeply personal journey of resilience, self-discovery, and healing.

From childhood struggles and family challenges to finding freedom and strength through drag, this intimate documentary explores how performance art can transform pain into empowerment and become a powerful means of self-expression and healing.

Offering a glimpse into Thailand’s vibrant drag culture, “HEALS” is more than a portrait of an internationally acclaimed Thai artist. It is a moving story about identity, acceptance, and the courage to be oneself, bringing a unique perspective on Thailand's LGBTQIA+ community to international audiences.
