On 11 and 14 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, paid farewell calls on executives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark on the occasion of her completion of duty, namely, Mr. Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen, Permanent Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Lina Gandløse Hansen, State Secretary for Trade and Investments, Mr. Thomas Lund-Sørensen, Director of the Department for Asia, Oceania, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Ms. Nathalia Feinberg, Chief of Protocol.
 
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including various Danish agencies for their excellent cooperation extended to the Thai Embassy in fostering closer ties between the two countries in various areas, including facilitating the reception of the members of Thai Royal Family’s visits to Denmark on various occasions. In this occasion, both sides also discussed about the 7th Political Consultation which will be hosted by the Danish side, the promotion of technical cooperation, trade, investment and tourism, as well as exchange of high-level visits, the role of the Thai community in Denmark, views on international situations, and cooperation within the framework of the European Union and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) of which Thailand is set to become a member.
