On 7 May 2022, Mr. Jaya Patrachai, Counsellor, and Mrs. Boonthipa Phraraksa, Second Secretary, as well as staffs from the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen attended and presented prizes to winners in the Danish Muaythai National Championship 2022 organized by the Danish Muaythai Federation at the Kalundborg Gymnasium in Kalundborg.

Thai boxing or Muaythai is part of Thailand’s unique cultural heritage and has increasingly gained popularity in Denmark and many countries around the world. In 2021, Muay Thai was approved for full Olympic recognition and would become an official Olympic sport in the near future.
