On 17 February 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Copenhagen, attended the President Gitanas Nausėda of the Republic of Lithuania’s annual meeting 2026 with foreign diplomatic corps accredited to Lithuania at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius. During the event, the President delivered a speech on critical regional and global issues, including European Union security, continued support for Ukraine, a firm stance toward the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, and the promotion of relations with countries in the Indo-Pacific region. H.E. Mr. Kęstutis Budrys, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, also delivered a speech on Lithuania’s foreign policy. Later, the Ambassador, together with the diplomatic corps, participated in a briefing session by the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
 
In addition, on 16 February 2026, the Ambassador joined the official celebrations on the occasion of Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania, which included a flag-hoising ceremony of the three Baltic States at Simono Daukanto Square, Holy Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Stanislaus and St. Ladislaus, and a commemorative concert at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Concert Hall.
