On 21 January 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark hosted dinner at the Thai Residence for members of Friends of Thailand which included Mr. Stiig Waever, Partner, Waever Group, and Co-Founder of Dan Thai Net, Mr. Claus Rasmussen, Vice President HR, Liq Tech and Co-Founder of Dan Thai Net, and Mr. Kenth Hvid Nielsen, Senior Director and Head of Global Marketing-Commercial Buildings, GRUNDFOS. The dinner was also attended by diplomats from the Royal Thai Embassy.
The occasion provided an opportunity for the Ambassador and Friends of Thailand to exchange views on ways to organize activities to promote Thailand’s economic potential in order to attract more trade and investment from Denmark to Thailand. They also discussed ways and means that should be taken to raise awareness about Thailand as a business destination.
Mr. Waever, Mr. Rasmussen and Mr. Nielsen have worked in Danish companies in Thailand for many years, and possessed a vast understanding of Thailand’s market and the country’s economic potential.
