On 17 February 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania, with residence in Copenhagen, met with Mr. Ričardas Šlepavičius, Head of the Directorate for Indo-Pacific, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. In this occasion, both sides discussed the importance of promoting new areas of cooperation between Thailand and Lithuania, including fintech, cybersecurity, life sciences, and Lithuania’s upcoming signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC), as well as exploring collaborations within the ASEAN framework. These areas were aligned with Lithuania's Indo-Pacific Strategy which emphasized a closer relation and cooperation with countries in Indo – Pacific region. Moreover, the Ambassador and the Head of the Directorate also followed up on the results of the 5th Thailand-Lithuania Political Consultations.
 
In addition, on 18 February 2026, the Ambassador paid courtesy calls on Mr. Remigijus Motuzas, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Seimas (Parliament of Lithuania), at his office at the Seimas, and Ms. Dalia Tamošiūnienė, Adviser to the President on Foreign Policy, at the Presidential Palace, respectively. The discussions involved an exchange of views on several key issues, including Lithuania's position regarding Russia and Belarus, Lithuania's foreign policy, Thailand’s recent general elections, and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
