On 14 December 2024, H.E Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, visited Wat Pa Copenhagen to bid farewell to Phravithetvajirakitti, Abbot of the Temple. The Ambassador expressed appreciation for the continuous support to the Embassy by the Temple, especially on consular and volunteer works. The temple played the important role as a spiritual center for Thai nationals in Denmark which helped strengthen the Thai community. In this occasion, the Ambassador gave alms to the Abbot as well as the book on Dhamma written by Somdet Phra Buddhaghosacariya (Bikkhu P. A. Payutto) for the monks to study Tripitaka (Buddhist canons), and books collected the Dhamma session by Phra Dhammaphachrayanamuni (Phra Ajarn Jayasaro) in English to be distributed to Danes who showed a keen interest in Buddhism.
