On 11 December 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, met with representatives from Thai Students And Alumni Association in Denmark (TSAAD). She congratulated the establishment of the Association which the Embassy has been continuously encouraging. She added that the Association would serve as a supporting network between current Thai students and alumni who worked in Denmark to provide guidance on studying, working, and living in the country. Moreover, the Association, as part of Team Thailand in Denmark, would foster a close cooperation between the Embassy, and the Thai students and alumni. The Ambassador expressed the readiness of the Embassy to support future activities of the Association which would promote many areas of Thailand’s interest in Denmark. Then, the representatives also discussed and exchange views with the Embassy on the process of officially established the Association as well as upcoming activities in 2025, such as an orientation for new Thai students in Denmark, and networking events with Danish organizations and businesses.
