The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen Participates in a Buddhist Merit-Making Ceremony and organizes the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 3 June 2026

On 2 June 2026 at 09.30 hrs., Ms. Vowpailin Chovichien, Chargé dAffaires a.i., together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, the Office of Commercial Affairs in Copenhagen, and their families, participated in a Buddhist chanting and merit-making ceremony, including alms offering to monks, at Wat Pa Copenhagen. The merit making ceremony was in dedication of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queens 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 3 June 2026. The Most Venerable Phra Witheth Vajirakitti, Abbot of Wat Pa Copenhagen, presided over the religious ceremony.
 
Later, at 11.15 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 3 June 2026 at the Royal Thai Embassy. On this occasion, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. paid respects before the portrait of Her Majesty the Queen, presented royal offerings, delivered an address paying homage and offering best wishes, and led officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, the Office of Commercial Affairs in Copenhagen, and their families, in the candle-lighting ceremony as well as the signing of a book of well-wishes for Her Majesty the Queen.
