On 28 May 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the first session of Thai cooking class in 2025 at the Thai Residence. The class was well received and attended by the Ambassador of Georgia, the Ambassador of Uganda and members of the Ambassadors’ Spouses Group (ASG) in Denmark, namely Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Japan, the Netherlands, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Ukraine. The class was also attended by the President of Danish Muay Thai Federation as well as Friends of Thailand from various sectors.
The Thai Ambassador demonstrated how to cook “Larb Gai” (Thai ground chicken salad), which is a northeastern style or Isan dish, typically served with Papaya Salad and Grilled chicken. After the demonstration, small prizes were given to those who answered questions about Thai food correctly. Thereafter, participants were divided into 3 groups to try their skills at cooking Larb using either chicken, pork or mushroom.
The Ambassador hosted a luncheon to conclude the event and guests took home Larb seasoning mix and recipe.
