On 19–20 September 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, which is also accredited to the Republic of Lithuania, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Stockholm Office, and the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, organised a Thailand Booth at the Fair of Nations 2026 (Tautų mugė 2026) at Odminių Square in Vilnius, Lithuania. The participation brought Thailand’s culture, cuisine, wellness and scientific innovation closer to the Lithuanian public and the international community in Vilnius, while providing an opportunity to strengthen people-to-people relations, and promote greater awareness and appreciation of Thailand and Thai culture in Lithuania.
The Thailand Booth featured a variety of activities and interactive experiences throughout the event. Visitors enjoyed Thai cooking demonstrations and free tastings, including Chicken Larb and Shrimp Tom Yum, and had the opportunity to sample Thai herbal drinks and explore a selection of Thai products and souvenirs. The Thai Wellness Innovation Corner, presented by the Department of Medical Sciences, highlighted Thailand’s knowledge, products and innovations in health and wellness, providing visitors with an introduction to Thailand’s scientific and technological capabilities in this field.
Visitors could try on traditional Thai costumes and take photographs against backdrops featuring popular Thai tourist destinations at the TAT photo booth, while a Muay Thai performance on the main stage offered another introduction to Thailand’s cultural heritage and traditions.
The Thailand Booth at the Fair of Nations attracted a diverse audience of Lithuanian and international visitors, including families, young people and members of the Thai community in Lithuania. The lively engagement at the booth provided an informal platform for visitors to interact with Thai representatives, learn more about Thailand and its way of life, and discover Thai cuisine, culture, wellness and innovation. It also served as a valuable opportunity to foster people-to-people connections and greater familiarity with Thailand among the Lithuanian and international communities in Vilnius.
The Royal Thai Embassy expresses its appreciation to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Stockholm Office, and the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, as well as Sunlee and all partners and supporters, for their valuable contributions to the successful presentation of Thailand at the Fair of Nations 2026. The Embassy also thanks all visitors for joining and experiencing Thailand.
The participation reflects the Embassy’s efforts to advance cultural and science diplomacy and to strengthen the bonds between the peoples of Thailand and Lithuania.
