On Wednesday 11 October 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen hosted a religious ceremony in memory of H.E. Mr. Vichit Chitvimarn, former Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark who recently passed away at Temple of Watpa Copenhagen. Presence at the ceremony are H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, diplomats, their spouses, and the staff of the Embassy and the Thai Trade Center Nordic in Copenhagen, together with members of the Thai community and Danes who had met and closely worked with Ambassador Vichit.

Ambassador Vichit served as Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark from 2018 – 2020. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to foster a close tie and strong relations between Thailand and Denmark. He also focused on the strength and well-being of the Thai community in Denmark.
