On 16 August 2025, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, took part in the Pride Parade under the banner, “Diplomats for Equality”. This event was organized in collaboration with the Copenhagen Pride 2025 which is Denmark's biggest annual gender equality and human rights festival, advocating for equal rights of LGBTI+ as well as to combatting discrimination based on gender and gender identity.

Approximately 40 people participated in the event, including ambassadors, diplomats and staff as well as their families from various embassies in Copenhagen, walking in the parade behind the “Diplomats for Equality” banner, starting from Frederiksberg Town Hall to the Copenhagen City Hall square. The Thai community in Denmark also participated in the Pride parade, wearing Thai traditional and ornate costumes, walking under the “Thailand” banner and waiving Thai and rainbow flags, adding a unique, colorful vibrancy to the parade.

This year, the organizer of Copenhagen Pride welcomed by the entry into force of the Marriage Equality Act in Thailand in January 2025, making Thailand the first nation in South-East Asia to legalise same-sex marriage signifying the importance Thailand places in equal and equitable rights for all people in society. In addition, Copenhagen Pride also supports Thailand to host the world-class festival World Pride 2030.
