On 8 August 2025, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Copenhagen (ACC), hosted the ASEAN Family Day in celebration of ASEAN Day and the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), at the Thai Residence. The ASEAN flag was hoisted while the anthem was played.
The event was attended by ASEAN Ambassadors in Denmark, namely H.E. Ms. Nguyen Le Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Ms. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, Ambassador of Indonesia, Ms. Anne Kristine Salvador, Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Philippines, along with fellow ASEAN diplomats and their families. The guests enjoyed a warm, family-friendly afternoon featuring flavorful cuisine from respective Embassies, novelty relays, children’s activities, and a group photo to mark the occasion.
The event highlighted the unity and close collaboration among ASEAN Embassies in Denmark through the ASEAN Committee in Copenhagen (ACC), which underscored Thailand's commitment in promoting cooperation and good relations among ASEAN nations, particularly in people-to-people contacts and cultural understanding.
