On 13 June 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and delegation participated in the Folkemødet (Citizen Summit) which is Denmark’s biggest democratic event organized annually in June on Bornholm Island in Baltic Sea. Folkemødet is the forum for open public discussion where citizens, politicians, public sector, businesspeople, civil society, NGOs, academics and organisations can meet and exchange opinions on a various matters relating to people life and challenges facing Danish society and current global affairs. There are more than 3,400 activities of meetings, discussions, workshops, exhibitions and performances held in various booths, across 600 acres in the city of Allinge-Sandvig on Bornholm. Over 100,000 people travel from all over Denmark to attend this event organized every year on the second week of June.
