On 12 June 20254, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and delegation paid a visit and met with Thai community residing on Bornholm Island. Most of them operate Thai massage parlors and Thai restaurants which are well-known to people in Bornholm. Thai people on Bornholm have a good live as they can enjoy peaceful environment and beautiful sandy beaches. They said that there are many Danes and tourists visiting the island especially during the summer including Thai tourists who came by cruise ship which helped contribute to their good businesses.
Bornholm is an island of Denmark situated in the Baltic Sea, to the east of Denmark and south of Sweden. It covers an area of approximately 588 square kilometers, with a population of over 39,000 people. There are about 67 Thai people living on Bornholm.
