Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark met with representatives from the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI)

On 8 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, together with Miss Nitchaporn Varnapruk, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Copenhagen, and Mr. Jaya Patrachai, Counsellor, met with Mr. Jens Holst-Nielsen, Underdirektør/Director of International Trade and Market Development of the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), Ms. Sanne Lyng Marsland, Head of Business Development, Asia Hub, and Mr. Soren Falk, DI's Leading International Advisor, to discuss ways to promote trade cooperation between Thailand and Denmark, to expand investments in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) of Thailand that aims to promote investment in the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) industries in which Denmark has technological knowhow and expertise, as well as to bring business groups from Denmark to participate in various trade fairs and exhibitions in Thailand. Her Excellency the Ambassador also highlighted Thailand’s proposal to host the Advisory Center on International Investment Dispute Resolution under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), in order to highlight the potential and attractiveness of conducting trade and investment partnerships with Thailand.
 
DI is Denmark's largest employer-representative business organization. Its members consist of more than 20,000 Danish companies from different manufacturing and service sectors. DI plays a key role in shaping the Danish labour market and update Danish business regulations to comply with EU and international regulations.
