On 27 September 2023, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark paid a courtesy call on Mr. Thomas Lund-Sørensen, the new Director-General of the Department of Asia, Oceania and Latin America at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and took this opportunity to discuss preparations for the 6th Thailand-Denmark Political Consultations, which will be held in Bangkok on 12 October 2023. This will be the first time that both sides will meet on site after the pandemic. The meeting will be an opportunity for both sides to review bilateral relations in all dimensions and promote cooperation in various fields such as trade and investment, renewable energy, food and agriculture, technology and innovation, climate change, as well as exchanging views on issues of common interest both regionally and globally.
