On 12th December 2023, H.E Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark donated Thai language text book and teaching equipment to voluntary Thai language schools in Denmark, namely Moradok Thai Skole-Aarhus, Kung Thai Aalborg Skolen, and Thai Skole Fredericia, to be utilized in teaching activities of each school. Ms. Sirirat S. Andersen, chairperson of Moradok Thai Group, from Moradok Thai Skole-Aarhus, together with Ms. Nanthawan Sitipanya and Ms. Chotima Wichianphan, from Kung Thai Aalborg Skolen, were presented at the Embassy to receive the books and equipment.

In this occasion, the Ambassador expressed gratitude toward the Thai volunteers for establishing the schools to provide lessons on Thai language, music, food, and culture for Thais and children of Thai decent residing in Denmark and will plan to visit the schools and the students at the opportune time.

Moreover, the Ambassador took the opportunity to provide an annual donation to Ms. Andersen to support the activities of the Group to utilize for the benefit of the Thai community. She also thanked the Group for their continuous cooperation and support provided to the Embassy throughout the year.
