On Saturday 4 June 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, together with Mr. Puwit Wisartsakul, Consul, attended Sawasdee Thai Dansk Forening’s Annual Gathering 2022 in Glesborg. The event was also attended by about 100 members of the Association and their family members, both Thais and foreigners. The Ambassador delivered a speech saying that she was delighted and honored to be invited to this event and to see solidarity of the Thai communities in Århus, Odense and nearby cities. The Ambassador also expressed her appreciation to Mr. Suphan Ruengkratok, President of Sawasdee Thai Dansk Forening, for providing kind cooperation and strong support to the Embassy’s activities. The Thai community is considered an important part of Team Thailand in Denmark which helps promote Thailand’s interests and the strength of the Thai community and that the Embassy and the Thai community will work closely to support each other. On this occasion, the Embassy donated a supporting fund of 10,101 DKK to Sawasdee Thai Dansk Forening for further perusal in activities that deem beneficial to the association and the Thai community.
