On 15 February 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Denmark, met with Mr. Marius Kalanta, Acting General Manager of  Enterprise Lithuania, and Ms. Rasa Uzdavinyte, Director of Export Department, Enterprise Lithuania. Both sides reviewed their cooperation following the signing of the MOU between Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) and Enterprise Lithuania in March 2019. The Thai side is interested in collaborating with Lithuanian companies in Life Sciences business such as SatiMed, CasZyme and Froceth, and invites Lithuanian investors to invest in the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) where situates the Biopolis or the city of biotechnology innovation which accomodates the BCG economic model of Thailand. Moreover, Her Excellency the Ambassador also extends an invitation to the delegates of Entreprise Lithuania to attend the BIO-Asia Pacific 2022 conference during 14-16 September 2022 in Bangkok. Meanwhile, the Lithuania Entreprise is interested in expanding cooperations with Thailand in agricultural technology and production of electric cars, apart from Life Sciences, and has extended an invitation to participate in the Life Sciences Baltics in 2023.
