On 12 September 2018, on the occasion of the visit to Lithuania to present the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Lithuania in Vilnius, H.E. Mr. Vichit Chitvimarn, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Copenhagen, accompanied by Head of Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy, met with the Thai nationals in Lithuania at the Royal Thai Consulate in Vilnius. The Thai community expressed their gratefulness to Ambassador Vichit and the Royal Thai Embassy for taking the initiative to arrange a meeting with them. Currently there are about 25 Thai nationals residing in Lithuania who are married to Lithuanians and those working in health salons, most of whom are living a satisfactory life.
