On 24 June 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen and the Thai Community in Denmark organized “Thai Festival 2017 in Copenhagen” at Havneparken, Islands Brygge in Copenhagen. During the event, there were variety of cultural performances by members of the Thai Community in Denmark and professional performers and musicians from Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture of Thailand. Visitors to the event had opportunity to explore Thainess through Thai food, tropical fruit as well as Thai handicraft. Lucky draws for round-trip tickets Copenhagen-Bangkok sponsored by Thai Airways International was also another highlight of this event. In addition, delegation from the Ministry of Commerce participated in the event to promote new products and innovations from Thai rice, while the delegation from Ministry of Public Health also joined to promote Medical Hub in Thailand. Approximately 10,000 participants took part in the Thai Festival.
