On 17 June 2013, Miss Vimon Kidchob, Ambassador of Thailand to Iceland, attended the national day celebration of Iceland invited by the Government of Iceland.

During her visit, the Ambassador took the opportunity to pay courtesy calls on Mr. Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Iceland. Ambassador also met and exchanged views with Ambassador of China, Ambassador of India as well as representatives from Department of International and Security Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland and Faculty of Political Science, University of Iceland.
