On 13 January 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized the 3rd session of Thai cooking class for members of the Ambassadors’ Spouse Group (ASG) in Denmark at the Thai residence. The class received close attention by 16 participants from Poland, Japan, Egypt, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Germany, China, Argentina, Iceland, Vietnam, Turkey, Algeria, Israel, South Korea, Slovakia and Indonesia.
Mrs. Supranee Sathes, Ambassador's chef, demonstrated to the participants how to cook “Tom Kha Gai” (Chicken in coconut soup). After the demonstration, the participants were divided into 3 groups to compete in making Tom Kha Gai. Following that, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a luncheon for members of the ASG, along with awarding prizes from Thailand to the competition’s winners and providing green and red curry pastes as well as cooking recipes and Thai cookbooks to all participants as souvenirs.
