On 22 October 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark paid a visit to Thai tourism information booth organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Stockholm office at the Quality Travel Fair 2022 at Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen, Denmark. TAT has launched a big campaign "Always Warm" to stimulate tourism during the high season, especially tourists from the Nordic countries who are fleeing the cold to Thailand. It is expected that this campaign will help revive the trend of Thai tourism after the spread of the Covid-19 by presenting to tourists that Thailand is a major tourist destination of the world that not only has warm weather all year round but also has the readiness to welcome foreign tourists with warm hospitality that is unique to the Thai people. This is in line with the winter flight schedule starting from the beginning of October 2022 to the end of March 2023, which is the high season of Thai tourism.
This year, TAT invites Thai Airways International (Limited) from Denmark, and the tour operator Check Point Travel Co., to join the booth in order to promote Thai tourism in this event. The company sees the very good responses from Danish tourists who constantly visit the booth to inquire about package tours to Thailand while Thai Airways has full seats reservations on all flights.
In addition, the Elephants Hills Khao Sok Company from Thailand attends the event and organizes a booth to promote travel to the south of Thailand via routes from Phuket, Phang Nga, Surat Thani, and Krabi, by fusing the idea and aesthetic of national parks with the preservation of Thai elephants, which is ideal for family vacation.
The Quality Travel Fair 2022 will be held at Lokomotivværkstedet (Otto Busses Vej, 5a, 2407) in Copenhagen until 23 October 23. Visitors can stop by the Thai tourism information booth at the booth No. 26 and the booth of Elephants Hills Khao Sok at the booth number 31.
