Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen visited Thai workers in Vordinborg

On 15th September 2024, Mr. Teerakarn Savetsila, Consul, visited 104 Thai workers in Vordinborg, a town in the south of Copenhagen. These workers have been employed by Storstroem Bridge Joint Venture I\S (SBJV I\S) in a project to construct Storstroem Bridge which will connect the Island of Zealand and the Island of Lolland in Denmark. In this occasion, the Consul brought Thai food from the Thai Residence to treat the workers, together with the food prepared by Thai volunteers from Rak Baan Kird Group. He also visited workers’ accommodation to see their livelihood. Moreover, the Consul shared useful information to presented Thai workers, including the process to obtain a new passport and a new Thai ID card, details of legalization services provided by the Embassy, as well as how to adjust to the life in Denmark. He took the opportunity to underline the importance of upholding good working standard and following rules and regulations in Denmark to ensure the good image of Thai workers.
