Afterwards, the Team Thailand members participated in a study visit to Kalundborg Symbiosis, recognized as the world's first industrial symbiosis, based on the principle of using waste from one enterprise's production processes as raw materials or energy for others through pipelines connecting several companies to carry steam and heat from the Asnæsværket power plant to the symbiosis network, as well as heat for the city's central heating system. The facilities included a Helix Lab which acts as a learning center and incubator for research from real practices to create new innovations that benefit the industries in the network in collaboration with universities, a model that makes Denmark a real forefront in circular economy.

The delegation then visited Lerchenborg Estate to study about sustainable tourism and preservation of national heritage. Count Christian Lerche-Lerchenborg and his family, the owners of the estate and castle, prioritize sustainable preservation of the castle and its gardens, making Lerchenborg an example of preserving historic buildings, natural areas, and cultural heritage for the future generations.
