On 25^th May 2023, Phra Dhammaphacharayanamuni or Ajahn Jayasaro was invited by the Royal Thai Embassy, Copenhagen, to give a Dhamma talk to approximately 100 members of the Thai community in Denmark at Watpa Copenhagen. Ajahn Jayasaro was welcomed by Phra Khru Phinetsasanakhun, the Abbot. In this occasion, his reverence preached Dhamma on the topics of the potential of humans to understand Dhamma through self-discipline, benefits derived from practicing Dhamma to oneself and others, mindfulness, 4 Four Rddhippada (4 Basis for Success : Passion, Diligence, Mindfulness, Investigation), and 3 studies (morality, concentration, and wisdom). On the same day, Ajahn jayasaro also conversed about Buddhism with foreigners who practiced Buddhism or had great interest in the religion, at the Ambassador’s residence. His reverence discussed and answered a multiple interesting and thought-provoking questions, including Buddhism and peace in the current global context, the relation between the monarchy and Buddhism in Thailand, the practice of mindfulness, meditation, and the use of wisdom to realize the 3 characteristics of all things (impermanence, suffering, and not-self) which were the essence of Buddha's teachings.
