Royal Thai Embassy, Copenhagen welcomed the delegation of the 31st Executive Development Program for Thai University Administrators

On 1st August 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark hosted a dinner at the Thai Ambassador's Residence for 51 delegates who participated in the 31st Executive Development Program for Thai University Administrators, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, on the occasion of their study visit to Denmark during 31 July - 3 August 2024 on sustainable higher education and green transition. The Royal Thai Embassy arranged for the delegation a study visit at the State of Green, a leading Danish public-private partnership organization which plays an important role in promoting and supporting sustainability and innovation, especially in the use of renewable and clean energy in which Danish knowledge and experience in sustainability could be shared with other countries. The delegation also visited the Technical University of Denmark or DTU, Denmark's first technical college and renowned for its scientific and technological departments. Ms. Pimlapas Leekitcharoenphon, a senior researcher at the Research Group of Genomic Epidemiology, National Food Institute of the DTU, welcomed the delegation and briefed them an overview of the higher education system in Denmark. The delegation also had a discussion and exchanged ideas with 3 Thai government scholarship students who are pursuing their PHD at the DTU regarding enhancing academic collaboration between Thai universities and Danish research institutes.
