On 27 June 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a dinner for the Executives of the Mae Fah Luang University from Thailand, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nantana Gajaseni, Vice-President, Adj. Professor Supakorn Rojananin, M.D., Dean of School of Medecine, and Professor Torben Jessen, Advisor in Denmark and former President of the University of Svendborg and visiting professor of Mae Fah Luang University. The delegation was on a study visit to learn about hospital management in Denmark.

In this occasion, Her Excellency the Ambassador had a discussion with the delegation about a project to enhance collaboration between the School of Medicine and the Medical Center of Mae Fah Luang University and the University of Copenhagen where the delegation took a visit and met with the University’ s representative. The delegation also visited Bispebjerg Hospital, South Denmark Hospital, Kollund Private Hospital and that could lead to future collaborations and academic exchanges between the two sides.
