On 23 May 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark hosted an online meeting of Thai Ambassadors to Nordic and Baltic Regions with participation of H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, H.E. Ms. Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to Finland, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, and diplomats from respective Embassies. The meeting discussed and exchanged views on various issues to enhance the interests of Thailand in the regions including promotion of trade and investment, cooperation under Thailand-Nordic Countries Innovation Unit (TNIU), protection of Thai nationals as well as consular operations and services. The meeting also discussed regional security, economy and energy situations as well as synergy for projects and activities among the four embassies to increase impact and efficiency and maximise the use of resources.
