On 20 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Copenhagen, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse hosted a dinner for Mr. Rolandas Valiunas, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Vilnius, and Mrs. Jurgita Semenauskienė, Assistant to Honorary Consul of Thailand and Director at Lithuanian Art Centre TARTLE, on the occasion of Ambassador’s completion of duty. The dinner was also attended by Mr. Puwit Wisartsakul, Counsellor/Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy.
The Ambassador expressed her appreciation for the Honorary Consul’s unwavering support to the Embassy’s missions throughout the years which helps promote relations between Thailand and Lithuania and has made progress in many areas of cooperation, especially the promotion of trade, investment, tourism, technology and innovation. She also thanked the Honorary Consul and his team for their close collaboration in organizing Thai cultural events, facilitating various visiting delegations from Thailand and providing assistance to the Thai community in Lithuania.
