On 13 June 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized a special session (fifth session) of Thai cooking class for winner of the ASG First Diplomatic Bazaar at the Thai Residence. The class was attended by the Ambassador’s spouses from the Netherlands (the winner) Japan, Philippines, Slovenia, Israel, Poland, Germany and Egypt, as well as some Danish friends.
Ms. Supranee Sathes, Ambassador’s chef, demonstrated to the participants how to cook “Panang Gai” or Chicken in Panang curry which was ranked number 1 as the best soup and stew in the world by Website tasteatlas.com. After the demonstration, the participants were divided into 3 groups to compete in making “Panang Gai”. After the contest, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a luncheon for the participants along with awarding prizes to the competition’s winners and presenting red curry pastes as well as cooking recipes to all the attendees as tokens.
