On 24 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, visited Rak Thai School. Ms. Wanida Samittiwiwat, Headmaster of the school, welcomed the Ambassador and provided a brief tour of the classes and the school activities which focused on teaching Thai language and learning about Thai culture for children of the Thai community and Danes who have interest in Thailand. On this occasion, the Ambassador praised the commitment of Rak Thai Association, the school, the volunteered teachers, the parents, and the Thai community to preserve Thai heritages and culture for the new generations of Thais in Denmark. She also thanked the overall Thai community for the tremendous support given to the Embassy over the years and for being a strong community with good reputation in Denmark.

The Ambassador took the opportunity to provide an annual donation to Rak Thai Association to be utilized for the benefit of the Thai community. Moreover, she also gave two books to the school for the students and others who wished to learn more about Thailand. The first one is the book on the royal activities of His Majesty the King which was published to commemorate His Majesty's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2024. The second book was about the Incident of Rattanakosin Era 112 which highlighted the brilliance of King Rama V the Great on protecting the independence of Siam during the colonial era. During that time, many Danes contributed significantly to the cause of protecting the country.
