On 27 March 2023, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a dinner for Executives and spouses from Scan-Group A/S at the Thai Residence. The attendees were Mr. Sune Simonsen, CEO, Mr. Ulrik Jespersen, COO, Mr. Morten Jæpelt, Chairman and Mrs. Karin Jæpelt, his spouse, Mr. Peter Herling, CEO of Scan-IT and Mrs. Jennifer Herling, his spouse, Mr. Peter Andersen, COO of Shipco Transport Europe, and Mrs. Gitte Andersen, his spouse. Scan-Group A/S is a Danish conglomerate with 54 years of history specialized in international logistics, including land, rail, sea and air transportation, cargo terminals and warehouses, and information technology in transportation. Scan-Group A/S has a total of 156 offices in 40 countries in Asia, Europe and North America, hiring more than 3,200 employees, with the Thailand office of approximately 200 employees. In this occasion, H.E. the Ambassador also discussed with the Scan-Group Executives about cooperation on green shipping and Scan-Group’s business in Thailand.
