Thailand and Denmark officially established their diplomatic relations during the reigns of His Majesty King Rama IV of Siam and His Majesty King Frederick VIII of Denmark where the two Kingdoms signed the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation on 21 May 1858.
In 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen will organize several activities to celebrate the 160 years anniversary of the Thai-Danish diplomatic relations. News and information about these activities can be followed on the Embassy’s website and Facebook page.
