On 14 May 2018, Ambassador H.E. Vichit Chitvimarn, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen invited M.L. Sirichalerm Svasti or Chef McDang from Thailand to give a lecture and cooking demonstration of Authentic Thai Cuisine to students of the Copenhagen Hospitality College, Denmark's prominent cooking school which has produced many successful Danish chefs and contributed to the "New Nordic cuisine" movement in Denmark. Ms. Pratana Disyatat, Minister Counsellor represented the Embassy and Ms. Anne Birgithe Agger, Director of the Copenhagen Hospitality College gave their welcoming speeches to 70 students and teachers who joined the lecture.
