On 24 February 2018, Ms. Pratana Disyatat, Chargé d'affaires, a.i, attended and presented awards to winners at the Danish National Championships of Muaythai 2018 at Boholte Hallen, Køge. The Championship was organized by the Danish Muaythai Federation, which is accredited to the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA), and served as the qualification for the Danish National Team who will represent Denmark at the IFMA World Championship of Muaythai 2018 between 10-19 May 2018 in Cancun, Mexico. The Royal Thai Embassy supports efforts to promote Muaythai as a Thai cultural heritage internationally and to bring Muaythai towards the Olympic Games.
