On 2-3 June 2017, Sawasdee Thai-Danish Association, Thai Heritage Group and Thai community, with the support of the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, took part in “Explore the World with Aarhus” organized by Aarhus City Forening. Last year, Thai people participated actively in this event, attracting the attention from both locals and international visitors. This year, Thai community joined the parade presenting Thailand and Thai culture with enthusiasm and great pride. At this year’s event, there were a variety of interesting activities such as Thai food presentation and tasting, vegetable and fruit carving as well as cultural performances by Thai community and Moradokmai Theatre Troupe lead by Mr. Chonprakhan Janthareung. This festival is part of several events held this year during which Aarhus has been nominated the European Capital of Culture 2017.
