Thai Community donates money to the Danish Red Cross

On 31 March 2016, Miss Morakot Janemathukorn, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., on behalf of the Thai Community in Denmark and the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, donated all proceeds of 5,000 DKK from individual contributions at the Thai Festival in Copenhagen 2015 to the Danish Red Cross.

Receiving the donation, Mrs. Rikke Lind Andersson, Campaign Manager of the Danish Red Cross, expressed her gratitude for the initiative in contributing to public service activities in Denmark.

Denmark has been a second home to many Thais for quite some time. Active involvement and contribution to the society through public activities help reaffirm the goodwill of the Thai Community towards Denmark and the Danish people.

The donation from the Thai Community and the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen will help funding the activities carried out by the Danish Red Cross in Denmark.
