Come visit the exhibition "Thai Artistry: The Living Heritage" at ILLUM Department Store in Copenhagen and see the exquisite works from SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Center of Thailand (SACICT) based on HM Queen Sirikit of Thailand's initiative (SUPPORT Foundation - Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques) which helps preserve traditional Thai craftsmanship from being forgotten and train rural farmers to acquire such knowledge and skill to earn supplementary incomes.

Products being displayed at this Exhibition are especially created to showcase traditional Thai craftsmanship with modern design and creativity which is unique and perfect combination. This opens the opportunity for such products to access the international market and make known their great potentials.

The special Exhibition "Thai Artistry: The Living Heritage" is being displayed at the new Atrium on 4th floor of ILLUM Department Store in the heart of the shopping district in Copenhagen during 19 Oct - 1 Nov 2015.

In addition, the Exhibition also presents the story of cordial and close relationship between Denmark and Thailand which can be dated back since Ayutthaya trading days with merchants from Denmark. The Exhibition also highlights the important period of close friendship between the two countries during the reign of King Chulalongkorn thereafter.

This special project is a result of many months of preparation with combined efforts of relevant agencies namely the Royal Thai Embassy, SACICT, the Central Group who runs the ILLUM Department Store as well as TAT. This is a good example of team efforts with close coordination among co-partners of this project. Indeed, this represents another dimension of "TEAM THAILAND" comprising both public and private sectors working hand in hand with shared goal and vision.
