On 5 December 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy organized the reception at Bygningskulturens Hus, Copenhagen to celebrate the 86^th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and the National Day of Thailand. Distinguised guests from government and private sector, diplomatic corps are invited to celebrate this auspicius occasion. Various Thai dishes were served to the guests who enjoyed tasting Thai cuisine. As a homage to His Majesty the King, musicians from Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, were the special guest artists who performed songs composed by His Majesty the King.

On the 6 December 2013, the musicians from Princess Galyani Vadhana Insitute of Music also held a concert for the public at the National Museum which showcased music program linking Thai and Western cultures through classical music.
