On 20-21 January 2012, Ambassador VImon Kidchob visited Aalborg and Aarhus, and met with Thai communities in the two cities.  Ambassador had opportunities to also exchange ideas on the possibilities of organizing Thai Festivals in the respective locations this year.

Currently, there are approximately 10,500 Thais living in Denmark with several thousands scatters around Jutland.  About 400 are residing in Aalborg and 600 in Aarhus.  During 2004-2008, the Royal Thai Embassy organized 3 festivals in Aarhus, the second largest city of Denmark.  The events were great success with support from the Thai communities around the area.
