On 19 January 2015, Ms. Vimon Kidchob, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and Lithuania, met with Mr. Arturas Zuokas, Mayor of Vilnius, to discuss various areas of cooperation and inform him about the situation in Thailand.  Both sides discussed ways to support the opening of a Thai restaurant in Vilnius, activities to promote Thailand and cooperation between Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the City of Vilnius.  Mr. Zuokas took the opportunity to inform that the city would be hosting the Pacific/Asian Days in 2016 which is an event that was organized every two years.  As Thailand has been a regular participant, he would like to invite Thailand to join the event once again.
