On 21 July 2015, Ms. Vimon Kidchob, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and Lithuania, met with Mr. Remigijus Simasius, Mayor of Vilnius, to discuss various areas of cooperation and congratulate him on his appointment as Mayor of Vilnius in April 2015. Both sides discussed ways to support the opening of a Thai restaurant in Vilnius, activities to promote Thailand, exchange of knowledge on various areas between the two countries and cooperation between Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the City of Vilnius.
