On 11 June 2019, H.E. Mr. Vichit Chitvimarn, Ambassador of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Copenhagen, attended the 3rd Political Consultation between Thailand and Lithuania in Vilnius hosted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Thai delegation was led by H.E. Mr. Sasiwat Wongsinsawat, Director General of Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, while Ms. Diana Mickevičiene, Director General of Latin America, Africa, Asia and Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, was the head of Lithuanian delegation. The meeting was one of machanisms to promote closer relations between Thailand and Lithuania.
