On 23 April 2022, Mr. Puwit Wisartsakul, Consul, as a representative of the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, together with his family, attended Songkran Day ceremony at Watpa Copenhagen. Important activities in the ceremony included morning pray, offering food, necessities and a set of robes to the monks as well as making merits for the deceased. On this occasion, Phra Khru Phinetsasanakhun, the Abbot of Watpa Copenhagen, also led the monks and lay people to sprinkle water onto a Buddha image according to the Songkran tradition.
