On 26th August 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized mobile consular services in Esbjerg at Hotel Brittania. Around 60 Thai nationals received the services including passport service, registry service, and legalization service.

In this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, met with a group of Thai volunteers from Esbjerg and hosted a thank you dinner for their effort in supporting the organization of mobile consular services. The Ambassador also took the opportunity to discuss with the volunteers about their livelihood, their professional opportunities, and activities of the Thai community residing in the area of Esbjerg. Moreover, she congratulated them on being a tight-knitted community and their contribution to the success of Esbjerg Municipality’s International Day, which is organized annually in August. Their major presence during the event each year has elevated the popularity Thai cultural performances, and Thai food in Esbjerg.
